One of the East
Coast's most requested bands, Powerhouse has the reputation for
having the area's top musicians, a dynamic stage show with lights
and choreographed dance moves, and crowd interaction and participation
that is second to none!
Powerhouse is based in Maryland and features ten talented musicians
including, male and female vocalists, a full rhythm section and
a three piece horn section. Powerhouse is stacked with great musicians
who love to play great music as much as you enjoy dancing.
When Powerhouse plays, people
dance! Every song the band plays is dance tested. Simply put, if
you don't dance, the band won't play it again. The proof is on the
dance floor! Powerhouse offers a variety of music from Motown and
funk to big band and swing. The band can even break down into smaller
groups (solo piano, brass quartet, jazz combo, piano and vocals,
etc.) for cocktail or ceremony music. When Powerhouse plays everyone
dances...EVERYONE!
